Despite how busy our March was, I didn’t get very many good photos of our efforts! Actually, that’s probably why there aren’t many pics – when you’re neck deep in weddings it’s kind of hard to think about your social media marketing efforts. I’ve done my best below for you though!
The first weekend in March was a bit special as we had large Friday, Saturday and Sunday bookings. On Friday we had a large furniture hire delivery to Stonebarn in Pemberton as well as to Gilgara Retreat in Yallingup. We then spent the day on a private property in Boyanup setting up this awesome wedding in cleared out old machinery shed for a gorgeous couple and their families.

Saturday saw hire furniture and decorations off to St Aidan Wines in the Ferguson Valley and Erravilla in Yallingup. We also had furniture, styling and set up at Alverstoke Barn in Brunswick for a rustic cocktail style wedding with a hint of boho for a great local couple.

On the Sunday we had vintage hire furniture at Old Broadwater Farm in Busselton, and hire furniture and set up/styling for the day at Flutes in Yallingup as well – rounding out a busy but satisfying weekend!

The next weekend was almost as busy – a big furniture delivery to Fonty’s Pool in Manjimup – on the way I got a flat tyre for the first time in the truck! Pretty dramatic! Ended up an hour late on the delivery but as we were dropping everything off two days prior to the wedding, it was totally OK. Ended up with some gorgeous photos of this event too which made all the drama worthwhile – here’s my fave!

On the Saturday of that weekend we had furniture and decorations heading to a private property in Dunsborough, as well as to the Eaton Bowls Club, to St Aidan Wines in the Ferguson Valley, to a private property in Bunbury and to Alverstoke Barn in Brunswick.

We also had a ceremony and reception set up at Pullman Resort Bunkers Bay in a vintage nautical theme – a lot of sourcing of custom decorations and some crafty handiwork went in to this one!

Luckily the following weekend was a nice quiet one. We had our first wedding ceremony in the Ferguson Farmstay amphitheatre on the Friday, then furniture and decorations out to weddings in Argyle, Edith Valley, Donnelly River Village, and a baby shower in Dalyellup.
This is what our bride Lucy had to say: “I had the pleasure of Charmaine jazzing up my ceremony for my wedding at Ferguson Farmstay in the Ferguson Valley. Charmaine was so easy going and nothing was ever too much trouble. I felt so confident in Charmaine’s decoration choices and she is a true professional at her job. Highly recommend Charmaine for any decorating services but most definitely for weddings. Thank you again ????”

And then on the last weekend in March it rained, it poured! You can never ever rely on the weather – so please have a Plan B. Luckily both our clients had marquees organised for their weddings – we had some furniture and lighting to set up at Pullmans Resort Bunkers Bay as well as furniture hire, styling and florals to Myalup Vines for a couple who found out about us on Instagram!
