FVE Wedding Weekend 22nd November 2014

Another epic wedding weekend for us here at FVE with lots of furniture/prop hire deliveries to make as well two very special styling and set up jobs.

Firstly I would love to share with you this gorgeous pic of my cousins and a few of their friends at Hayley and Phil’s wedding at Old Broadwater Farm on Friday 21st November, having heaps of fun with our giant jenga!

So, back to work. Our first styling brief on Saturday 22nd November was for Emily and Damon, a local Bunbury/Harvey couple who chose to tie the knot in the stunning Stirling Cottage Gardens in Harvey.

The ceremony was styled by Perth business Heart Strings and Pretty Things with their vintage furniture, with white folding Gladiator guest chairs provided by us.

Their large 140ish guest reception was held at the Lighthouse Beach Resort in Bunbury. We helped the vintage garden theme along by providing the same chairs for the reception as for the ceremony, our white folding Gladiator chairs.

The decorations/centrepieces were all DIY by the bride but set up on the day by us (as trust me, the bride never has time for this on the day!!). The centrepieces were stacks of vintage books with jars of babys breath and Harry Potter themed table names. It looks gorgeously simple and we loved it.

Our second styling brief was for Casey and James, also on Saturday 22nd November, a Donnybrook couple who held their ceremony at the Wellington Forest Cottages in the Ferguson Valley, under a massive fig tree, surrounded by natural bushland.

A simple ceremony with our wooden bench seats was followed by a smaller wedding reception at Hackersley Winery in the Ferguson Valley, for around 70 guests. The theme was elegant country – these guys breed cattle and run a farm but Casey didn’t want to go too OTT with the country theme for their wedding, and I think the balance was just perfect. And what a view!!

Thank you to both couples for trusting us to set up your special day, and we wish you all the very best for the future!
