By April, weddings usually start winding down for us – still every weekend but the intensity kind of fades a little. I really enjoy this time of year – the weather is a bit cooler, the flies and dust are gone, and the leaves are turning.
Here’s a quick run-down of our April-May-June 2015 weddings.
First weekend in April was a beautiful ceremony at Meelup Beach, I was especially proud of the little posies we made for the sides of the aisle chairs. We also had a big delivery of furniture out to Dumbleyung, a three-hour or so trip into the wheatbelt out past Wagin, for a marquee farm wedding.

The next weekend in April (10th and 11th) was quite busy with bits and pieces going across the southwest. Some photos as follows of two weddings in Brunswick, followed by a larger set up we did at Ferguson Farmstay.

The following weekend saw us at St Aidan’s Winery in the Ferguson Valley for a wedding ceremony, as well as furniture out to a wedding at a private property in Boyanup, and a ceremony set up at the beautiful Stirling Cottage Gardens in Harvey. This was followed by a Sunday wedding in a Bunbury backyard, where we quickly transformed the ceremony space into a reception.

And that was pretty much it for April! For May we had a few wedding ceremony set ups, including one at Evedon Park, and at Bunkers Bay Pullmans Resort, pictured below. And June brought a small but beautiful red and gold wedding at St Aidan’s Wines in the Ferguson Valley.

Last but not least we squeezed a 40th in there too! No job too small for us at FVE – even if it’s just getting enough matching chairs for a family birthday party, we can help.
