We’ve rebranded, and pivoted! From Ferguson Valley Events to Red Gum Events, we’re now offering contract set-up and styling services to events businesses and venues.
With over eight years experience in the industry, Charmaine is now available to help your business bring their next southwest wedding or event to life.
Charmaine started Red Gum Events (formerly Ferguson Valley Events) in 2013 when she realised there were limited local services that offered both furniture hire and set-up/styling services for weddings and events, especially in rural locations.
The next seven years was weddings and events across the southwest, cocktail style and sit-down, from elopements and sitdown weddings of 300pax to festivals such as Groovin the Moo and Truffle Kerfuffle. Things got busy and we went through lots of different permutations of the business. What stayed the same was our professional, friendly and down-to-earth approach and excellent local knowledge and relationships with venues and other suppliers.
After COVID/2020 plus the arrival of her own little gumnut, Charmaine made the decision to purely offer her event experience on a contract basis to other businesses, to help with set up and styling of weddings and events.
